SORRY ITS SOLD! Recent Collings OM-2C, Like New Condition. There aren't enough of these superb sounding cutaway OM's around and this one is an exceptional example. Solid East Indian Rosewood back and sides, stunning select Sitka Spruce top w/silking, ivoroid binding, prewar scalloped bracing, black/white rosette, tortoise style pickguard, gorgeous Brazilian Rosewood headplate. Other features include a Mahogany neck (perfect for fingerstyle) with Ebony fingerboard and bridge, mother of pearl Collings logo and nickel Waverly tuners.
The Collings Orchestra Model (OM) guitar is an interpretation of the Martin short run of instruments made between 1929 and 1933. These feature a 000 size body with a 14 fret neck. The nut width on this one is 1 3/4".
This guitar has been gently played and the tone has opened up nicely yielding a loud, clear, balanced, articulate and resonant tone with great focus, power and complexity. An ideal guitar for the serious musican or recording artist. If you are looking for a Rosewood OM Collings with cutaway, it doesn't get any better than this. |
